Investment Advisory - Quality Assurance Specialist

Our business area Investment Products & Services (IPS) provides our client advisors with high quality and tailor-made solutions. As the Quality Assurance Specialist you will support the Investment Advisory business.Key tasks and responsibilities include:Review business processes, controls, activities and identify risks including set-up of mitigation measuresLiaise with the risk functions within IPS APAC and Investment Advisory Switzerland to ensure a complete and consistent control framework and quarterly risk assessment; ensure audit readiness and compliance with regulatory/governing environment (e.g., SOX, SBA Guidelines)Maintain Global Risk Management tools (e.g., ORI, DEORIS, Metrics, Headmap, Self-certificationSupport timely execution of Investment Advisory Control Plan and quality checks on regional program templatesResponsible for the maintenance of the Advisory Toolkit - work closely with Switzerland on tool enhancements and rollouts and resolve any systems and/or platform issuesAdministrative support on regular and ad-hoc requests which would include business updates, coordination work, MIS, etc Requirements Our ideal candidate should have the following requisites:At least 2 years of relevant experience in the banking industry, preferably with operations and/or accounting backgroundSelf-motivated, responsible, meticulous, positive attitude, teamwork, strong analytical & problem solving skills, good communication & interpersonal skillsStrong communications skills in English, Mandarin would be an advantage Our Offering UBS can offer you an environment geared towards performance, attractive career opportunities, and an open corporate culture that values and rewards the contribution of every individual.
